आज से फिर पटरी पर दौड़ेगी तेजस एक्सप्रेस
इंडियन रेलवे कैटरिंग एंड टूरिज्म कॉरपोरेशन (IRCTC) ने घोषणा की है कि अहमदाबाद-मुंबई और लखनऊ-नई दिल्ली तेजस एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनों का परिचालन शनिवार से फिर से शुरू हो जाएगा। आईआरसीटीसी के मुताबिक ट्रेन नंबर 82901/82902 अहमदाबाद-मुंबई-अहमदाबाद और ट्रेन नंबर 82501/82502 लखनऊ-नई दिल्ली-लखनऊ सप्ताह में चार दिन सोमवार, शुक्रवार, शनिवार और रविवार को चलेगी। यात्री आईआरसीटीसी की वेबसाइट irctc.co.in या आईआरसीटीसी रेल कनेक्ट एप पर टिकट बुक कर सकते हैं। कोविड -19 महामारी की दूसरी लहर के बीच रेलवे ने तेजस एक्सप्रेस के संचालन को रोक दिया था।
नई दिल्ली-लखनऊ तेजस एक्सप्रेस को अक्टूबर 2019 में लॉन्च किया गया था। यह आईआरसीटीसी द्वारा पूरी तरह से संचालित होने वाली पहली ट्रेन थी। प्रत्येक दिशा में यात्रा को पूरा करने में छह घंटे से अधिक समय लगता है। ट्रेन यात्रियों को 25 लाख रुपये के रेल यात्रा बीमा के साथ-साथ विभिन्न आधुनिक सुविधाएं मुफ्त प्रदान करती है।
वहीं अहमदाबाद-मुंबई मार्ग जनवरी 2020 में शुरू किया गया था। इसमें दो एक्जीक्यूटिव क्लास चेयर कार हैं, जिनमें से प्रत्येक में 56 सीटों के साथ-साथ आठ चेयर कार हैं, जिनमें से प्रत्येक में 78 सीटों की क्षमता है। यात्रियों को हाई क्वालिटी वाले भोजन और ड्रिंक्स प्रदान किए जाते हैं, जो टिकट के किराए में शामिल होते हैं। इस ट्रेन के हर डिब्बे में पानी की बोतल के अलावा आरओ वाटर फिल्टर लगा है। इस ट्रेन के यात्रियों को भी 25 लाख रुपये तक का रेल यात्रा बीमा प्रदान किया जाता है।
