मुंबई। बॉम्बे हाईकोर्ट ने एक महिला को 24 हफ्ते का गर्भ गिराने की इजाजत दे दी है।  महिला के गर्भ में तीन भ्रूण पल रहे हैं। 24 हफ्ते का गर्भ गिराने की अनुमति देने का संभवत: देश में यह पहला मामला है। जे जे अस्पताल के एक विशेषज्ञ पैनल ने गर्भ को गिराने की अनुमति देने की सिफारिश की थी। कहा था कि यह गर्भ मां की मानसिक हालात के लिए ठीक नहीं है। जस्टिस शाहरुख काठवाला और जस्टिस सुरेंद्र तावड़े की पीठ ने एक मानसिक समस्या से पीडि़त 41 वर्षीय महिला और उसके पति की उस याचिका को स्वीकार कर लिया था, जिममें कहा गया कि महिला के गर्भ में तीन भ्रूण पल रहे हैं, जिनके स्वस्थ न होने के चलते गर्भपात की इजाजत दी जाए। बता दें कि महिला के गर्भ में भ्रूण में से जहां एक का सिर नहीं है, तो वहीं दूसरे में आनुवाशिंक असामान्यताएं के साथ पैदा होने की आशंकाएं जताई गई है। जबकि एक के स्वस्थ्य पैदा होने की संभावना है। इससे पहले, 12 मई को बॉम्बे हाईकोर्ट की एक पीठ ने केवल एक भ्रूण की समाप्ति की संभावना के लिए जांच के निर्देश दिए थे। इसके बाद 17 मई को न्यायाधीशों ने चिकित्सा विशेषज्ञों से महिला के स्वास्थ्य और संपूर्ण गर्भ को समाप्त या न करने को लेकर एक रिपोर्ट मांगी थी।
