बच्चों की वैक्सीन के ट्रायल पर रोक से दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट का इनकार
नई दिल्ली। दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय ने भारत बायोटेक को कोविड-19 रोधी टीके कोवैक्सीन के दो से 18 वर्ष के बच्चों पर परीक्षण के लिए दी गई अनुमति रद्द करने के अनुरोध वाली याचिका पर बुधवार को केन्द्र को अपना रुख स्पष्ट करने को कहा। मुख्य न्यायाधीश डीएन पटेल और न्यायमूर्ति ज्योति सिंह ने केन्द्र और भारत बायोटेक को नोटिस जारी 15 जुलाई तक याचिका पर उन्हें उनका रुख स्पष्ट करने को कहा। उक्त याचिका संजीव कुमार की ओर से दायर की गई है। कोवैक्सीन का विकास हैदराबाद आधारित भारत बायोटेक और भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान अनुसंधान परिषद (आईसीएमआर) ने किया है। यह उन दो टीकों में शामिल है, जिन्हें भारत में अभी व्यस्कों को लगाया जा रहा है।
