केन्द्र ने राज्यों को रेमडेसिविर के आवंटन पर लगाई रोक

नई दिल्ली। मांग से अधिक आपूर्ति के बाद केंद्र ने राज्यों को दी जाने वाली एंटी-वायरल दवा रेमडेसिविर के आवंटन पर रोक लगा दी है। केंद्रीय मंत्री मनसुख मंडाविया ने शनिवार को यह जानकारी दी। मंडाविया ने ट्वीट कर कहा, अब देश में पर्याप्त मात्रा में रेमडेसिविर उपलब्ध है क्योंकि मांग की तुलना में आपूर्ति काफी अधिक है। इसलिए, हमने राज्यों को किए जाने वाले रेमडेसिविर के केंद्रीय आवंटन को रोकने का फैसला किया है।

उर्वरक एवं रसायन राज्य मंत्री ने इस बात का भी जिक्र किया कि कोविड-19 के उपचार में उपयोग होने वाली इस दवा की आपूर्ति में खासा सुधार हुआ है, जहां 11 अप्रैल को रेमडेसिविर की प्रतिदिन 33000 शीशी की आपूर्ति थी, वहीं अब यह 10 गुना से अधिक बढ़कर 3,50,000 शीशी प्रतिदिन हो गई है।

उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार ने एक महीने के भीतर रेमडेसिविर का निर्माण करने वाली इकाइयों की संख्या 20 से बढ़ाकर 60 कर दी। मंडाविया ने यह भी कहा कि सरकार ने आपातकालीन स्टॉक के तौर पर रेमडेसिविर की 50 लाख शीशियां खरीदने का भी फैसला लिया है।
