कड़कड़डूमा स्थित अतिरिक्त सत्र न्यायाधीश दीपाली शर्मा की अदालत ने इस मामले में आरोपी व्यक्ति की अग्रिम जमानत याचिका को मंजूर कर लिया है। अदालत ने आरोपी को 35 हजार रुपये के निजी मुचलके एवं इतने ही रुपये मूल्य के जमानती के आधार पर जमानत दी है।
मामले की सुनवाई के दौरान एक पक्ष यह भी रहा जब पीड़िता ने कहा कि आरोपी ने उससे कहा था कि उसकी पत्नी कैंसर की बीमारी से पीड़ित है, इसलिए वह आरोपी के इस झांसे में आ गई कि वह उससे शादी करेगा, लेकिन अदालत ने कहा कि जब पीड़िता खुद एक विवाह के संबंध में है तब वह आरोपी से शादी कैसे कर सकती थी। कानूनी तौर पर दोनों को शादी करने के लिए अपने-अपने जीवन साथी से अलग होना अनिवार्य था। यहां दो परिचित लोगों के बीच शारीरिक संबंध बनाने का मामला है, लेकिन शादी के झांसे जैसी बात उचित नजर नहीं आ रही। हालांकि, अदालत ने कहा कि अंतिम निर्णय मामले पर सुनवाई पूरी होने के बाद ही आ सकता है।
