राजेश शुक्ला। अमूनन पति द्वारा प्रताडऩा के बाद पत्नी द्वारा आवेश में आकर जहर खाने की बात सुनी जाती है. लेकिन, इस बार एक पति अपनी पत्नी की प्रताडऩा से इस कदर प्रताडि़त हो गया कि आखिर उसने जहर खाकर अपने जीवनलीला समाप्त कर ली। यह मामला मप्र के ग्वालियर जिला स्थित माधवगंज थाना के फौजी कॉलोनी का है। प्रताडि़त युवक ग्वालियर में यूनियन बैंक में अनुबंधित सुरक्षा गार्ड था।

विगत दो साल से मृतक प्रदीप राजावत की अपनी पत्नी पूजा पुत्री ऐंदल सिंह चौहान उम्र 27 साल निवासी सैनिक कॉलोनी से घरेलू विवाद चल रहा था।

इसके लिए पूजा ने प्रदीप पर दहेज समेत मारपीट की शिकायत पुलिस को की थी। दोनों की काउंसिलिंग भी हो चुकी थी। मृतक के परिजन ने बताया कि प्रदीप शादी हमने बिना दहेज की मांग के साथ की थी। लड़की पक्ष ने जो दहेज दिया वह अपनी मर्जी से दिया।

बताया जाता है कि शादी के बाद से ही उसकी पत्नी पूजा ने उसे प्रताडि़त करना शुरू किया। पत्नी हर बार लड़कर थाने पहुंच जाती थी। इससे तंग आकर 12 सितंबर 2021 को सल्फास खा लिया। उसे परिजनों ने अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया, लेकिन उसकी मौत हो गई।

इधर इस मामले में माधवगंज थाना पुलिस ने मृतक के परिजनों की नहीं सुनी तो पीडि़त परिवार ने अपने अधिवक्ता के माध्यम से कोर्ट में आवेदन लगाया। कोर्ट ने पत्नी के द्वारा पति के प्रताडि़त करने के संपूर्ण साक्ष्य का अध्ययन करने के बाद एफआईआर के आदेश दिए।

धारा 306 में एफआईआर होने के बाद पुलिस ने आरोपी पूजा को सर्च किया तो वह फरार है। पुलिस उसकी तलाश कर रही है।

मेरे भाई को उसकी पत्नी प्रताडि़त करती थी। इससे वह मानसिक रुप से परेशान था। डेली के विवाद और पुलिस में की गई शिकायतों के बाद उसने सल्फास खाकर अपनी जान दे दी।
