मध्य प्रदेश के बहुचर्चित व्यावसायिक परीक्षा मंडल (व्यापमं-अब प्रोफेशनल एक्जामिनेशन बोर्ड) घोटाले में अब अदालत में सुनवाई पूरी होने के बाद फैसले आने शुरू हो गए हैं। नौ साल पहले दूसरे व्यक्ति से परीक्षा दिलाकर सिपाही बनने वाले धर्मेंद्र रावत को अदालत ने सात साल की सजा सुनाई है।

आरक्षक भर्ती 2012 में चयनित हुए धर्मेंद्र रावत के खिलाफ सीबीआई ने जांच कर 23 अगस्त 2017 को आरोप पत्र दाखिल किया था।

इसमें सुनवाई के बाद सीबीआई के विशेष न्यायाधीश ने धर्मेंद्र रावत (उम्मीदवार) को दोषी माना है। हालांकि उसके मामले में सीबीआई दूसरे व्यक्ति के माध्यम से परीक्षा पास करने वाले तथ्य की पुष्टि में उस व्यक्ति को पेश नहीं कर पाया जिसने परीक्षा दी थी।

मगर इसकी पुष्टि हो गई कि आरक्षक भर्ती परीक्षा में धर्मेंद्र रावत ने परीक्षा नहीं दी थी बल्कि उसके स्थान पर दूसरे किसी व्यक्ति ने परीक्षा दी थी। इससे अदालत ने उसे दोषी माना।

विशेष न्यायाधीश ने फैसला सुनाते हुए धर्मेंद्र रावत को सात साल के कठोर कारावास और 7000 रुपये (लगभग) के जुर्माने की सजा सुनाई है। उल्लेखनीय है कि सीबीआई ने सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के आदेश नौ जुलाई 2015 का पालन करते हुए धर्मेंद्र रावत और उनके पिता के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज किया था।

उन पर आरोप था कि पुलिस कांस्टेबल भर्ती परीक्षा 2012 में मूल प्रत्याशी धर्मेंद्र रावत के स्थान पर कोई अन्य व्यक्ति उपस्थित हुआ।
