कोरोना महामारी की वजह से जिस सेक्टर में सबसे ज्यादा बदलाव देखने को मिला है, वह बैंकिंग सेक्टर। बैंक और उससे जुड़े ढेर सारे काम अब घर बैठे ऑनलाइन किए जा सकते हैं। बैंक भी इस बात का ध्यान दे रहे हैं कि ग्राहकों को कम से कम ब्रांच आना पड़े। लेकिन इस सुविधा ने एक समस्या भी खड़ी कर दी है।
पहले की अपेक्षा अब डिजिटल फ्राॅड काफी बढ़ गया है। यानी आपकी एक चूक और पूरा अकाउंट खाली। इसी की देखते हुए स्टेट बैंक ऑफ इंडिया (State Bank of India) ने ग्राहकों को फेक कस्टमर केयर नंबर को लेकर सतर्क किया गया है।
स्टेट बैंक ऑफ़ इंडिया ने अपने ट्विटर हैंडल से एक वीडियो शेयर किया है, जिसमें बैंक ने ग्राहकों फेक कस्टमर नंबर को लेकर सावधान किया है। वीडियो में एक व्यक्ति फर्जी कस्टमर केयर नंबर पर फोन पर गलती से फोन कर देता है। जिसमें वह कार लोन के विषय में जानकारी मांगता है। दूसरी तरफ से अकाउंट डिटेल्स पूछे जाते हैं।
जब कस्टमर अकाउंट डिटेल्स बता देता है तब जवाब आता है कि आपका अकाउंट बंद है। अपना डेबिट कार्ड नंबर साझा करिए और इसी तरह धोखे में सारी जानकारी लेकर अकाउंट में सेंध लगाई जाती है।
बैंक की तरफ से स्पष्ट तौर पर कहा गया है कि ऐसी जानकारी किसी से साझा ना करें साथ ही बैंक ने अपने कस्टमर केयर का नंबर भी जारी किया है।
