भारत में खूब पॉप्युलर हुआ शॉर्ट वीडियो ऐप TikTok जल्द ही वापसी कर सकता है। रिपोर्ट की मानें, तो टिकटॉक की पैरेंट कंपनी बाइटडांस (ByteDance) ने इंडियन पेटेंट ऑफिस में नया ट्रेडमार्क फाइल किया है। इस ट्रेडमार्क में टिकटॉक की स्पेलिंग भी बदल दी गई है। बता दें कि पिछले साल जून में भारत सरकार ने जिन 56 चीनी ऐप्स को बैन किया था, उनमें टिकटॉक भी शामिल था। इसके बाद से ही भारतीय यूजर्स के लिए टिकटॉक ऐप ने काम करना बंद कर दिया था।

टिप्स्टर मुकुल शर्मा ने अपनी ट्विटर पोस्ट में इस ट्रेडमार्क का खुलासा किया है। पोस्ट में दावा किया गया है कि बाइटडांस ने 6 जुलाई को एक ट्रेडमार्क ऐप्लिकेशन फाइल की, जिसका टाइटिल TickTock था। Gadgets 360 की मानें तो इसे ट्रेडमार्क नियम, 2002 के चौथे शेड्यूल की Class 42 के तहत फाइल किया गया था। इसके अंतर्गत “साइंटिफिक और टेक्नोलॉजिकल सर्विस और उससे संबंधित रिसर्च और डिजाइन; इंडस्ट्रियल एनालिसिस और रिसर्च सर्विस; कंप्यूटर हार्डवेयर और सॉफ्टवेयर का डिजाइन और डिवेलपमेंट” आता है।

मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, टिकटॉक की भारत में वापसी के लिए बाइटडांस भारतीय सरकार से बातचीत कर रही है। कंपनी ने अधिकारियों को यह भी आश्वासन दिया कि वह नए आईटी नियमों का पालन करने के लिए काम करेगी। इतना ही नहीं, बाइटडांस ने 2019 में ही भारत में अपना चीफ नोडल और ग्रीवन्स ऑफिसर तैनात कर दिया था, जो नए आईटी नियमों में यह जरूरी निर्देशों में से एक है।
