नई दिल्ली: सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने ‘लव जिहाद’ से जुड़े एक केस में ओडिशा, जम्मू-कश्मीर और चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन को नोटिस भेजा है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट की तरफ से यह नोटिस ओडिशा के रहने वाले दंपति की उस याचिका पर भेजा गया है जिसमें उन्होंने अपनी फार्मासिस्ट बेटी को ‘लव जिहाद’ से बचाने की मांग की थी। लव जिहाद शब्द सुप्रीम कोर्ट के इतिहास में साल 2017-18 में केरल के हदिया-सफीन जहां केस से शामिल हो गया था।

जस्टिस यूयू ललित, जस्टिस अजय रस्तोगी और जस्टिस अनिरुद्ध बोस की पीठ ने वकील सुदर्शन मेनन की दलीलें सुनने के बाद तीन राज्य और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों से संबंधित मामले में सरकार को नोटिस जारी किया। सुनवाई के दौरान वकील ने लड़की के चंडीगढ़ में मुस्लिम युवक से शादी करने और उसके बाद गायब होने की कहानी बताई। वकील ने कहा कि शादी के बाद बेटी कहां है, किस हाल में है, माता-पिता को इसकी कोई-खोज खबर ही नहीं है। उनकी बेटी शादी के बाद से लापता हो गई है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने प्रतिवादियों को सुनवाई की अगली तारीख 23 जुलाई तक जवाबी हलफनामा दाखिल करने को कहा है।

इससे पहले लड़की के माता-पिता कबीता और केदारनाथ ने अपनी बेटी की जान को खतरा होने की आशंका में सुप्रीम कोर्ट में बंदी प्रत्यक्षीकरण याचिका (habeas corpus writ) दायर की थी। उनकी बेटी ने लखनऊ जाने से पहले ओडिशा के बेरहामपुर में जम्मू-कश्मीर के के युवक के साथ बी फार्मा की पढ़ाई की थी। फिर नौकरी की तलाश में चंडीगढ़ चली गई और शादी कर ली। उसकी आखिरी सुराग जम्मू-कश्मीर के बांदीपोरा में मिला, उसके बाद सो वो गायब है। लड़की ने जिस युवक से शादी की, वह बांदीपोरा का ही रहने वाला है।
