आईएमए की प्राथमिकियों पर रोक के लिए सुप्रीम कोर्ट पहुंचे रामदेव

नई दिल्ली: योग गुरु बाबा रामदेव ने कोविड-19 महामारी के दौरेान एलोपैथी इलाज के खिलाफ की गई उनकी कथित टिप्पणियों को लेकर भारतीय चिकित्सा संघ (आईएमए) द्वारा बिहार और छत्तीसगढ़ में दर्ज कराए गए कई मामलों पर रोक के लिए उच्चतम न्यायालय में याचिका दायर की है.

आईएमए की पटना और रायपुर इकाई ने योग गुरु रामदेव के खिलाफ शिकायत दर्ज कराते हुए आरोप लगाया है कि कोविड-19 नियंत्रण प्रक्रिया में उनकी टिप्पणियों से पूर्वाग्रह की स्थिति उत्पन्न हो सकती है और यह लोगों को महामारी के खिलाफ उचित इलाज के प्रति हतोत्साहित कर सकती है.

रायपुर के सिविल लाइंस थाने में दर्ज शिकायत में आरोप लगाया गया है कि रामदेव की भ्रम पूर्ण जानकारी और वक्तव्य के कारण आधुनिक चिकित्सा पद्धति के प्रयोग से 90 फीसदी से ज्यादा ठीक हो रहे मरीज आशंका की स्थिति में आ जाएंगे और उनकी जान को खतरा हो जाएगा. इससे न केवल पूरा चिकित्सक पैरामेडिकल वर्ग उद्वेलित आक्रोशित है बल्कि देश में विपरीत परिस्थितियों में संघर्ष करने में हतोत्साहित भी हो रहा है.

बाबा रामदेव ने अपनी याचिका में पटना और रायपुर में दर्ज प्राथमिकियों को दिल्ली स्थानांतरित करने का अनुरोध किया है.

उनके खिलाफ भारतीय दंड संहिता की धारा 188 (लोक सेवक द्वारा विधिवत रूप से घोषित आदेश की अवज्ञा), 269 (जीवन के लिए खतरनाक बीमारी के संक्रमण फैलने की लापरवाही से कार्य करना), 504 (शांति भंग करने के इरादे से जानबूझकर अपमान) और आपदा प्रबंधन अधिनियम, 2005 के अन्य प्रावधानों के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया है.

बाबा रामदेव ने मामले में दर्ज प्राथमिकियों को एक साथ मिलाकर दिल्ली स्थानांतरित करने का अनुरोध किया है. इसके साथ ही उन्होंने न्यायालय से अंतरिम राहत के तौर पर आपराधिक शिकायतों की जांच पर रोक लगाने का भी अनुरोध किया है.

गौरतलब है कि बीते महीने भारतीय चिकित्सा संघ (आईएमए) की बंगाल इकाई ने एलोपैथी पर रामदेव के विवादित बयान के विरोध में पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज कराई थी.
