5 साल से कम उम्र के बच्चों को मास्क नहीं जरूरी, गाइडलाइन जारी

नई दिल्ली। कोरोना की दूसरी लहर का प्रकोप भले ही भारत पर अब कम हो गया है। लेकिन देश अब खुद को तीसरी लहर के लिए तैयार कर रहा है विशेषज्ञों का कहना है कि कोरोना का तीसरी लहर का सबसे ज्यादा खतरा बच्चों को होगा। इसलिए सरकार पहले से ही सभी सुरक्षा इंतजाम करने में लगी है। केंद्र सरकार ने संक्रमित बच्चों के इलाज को लेकर गाइडलाइन जारी की है। जिसमें सरकार ने बताया है कि पांच साल से कम उम्रे के बच्चों के लिए मास्क पहनना जरूरी नहीं है। स्वास्थ्य सेवा महानिदेशालय (डीजीएचएस) ने कहा कि 6 से 11 साल के बच्चे मास्क पहन सकते हैं लेकिन सिर्फ माता-पिता की देखरेख और डॉक्टर के परामर्श के बाद। इसके अलावा डीजीएचएस ने कहा मास्क पहनना व्यस्कों के लिए भले ही अनिवार्य हो लेकिन पांच से कम उम्र के बच्चों के लिए यह जरूरी नहीं है।

डीजीएचएस से जारी दिशानिर्देशों में कहा गया कि बच्चों को स्टेरॉयड देने से बचा जाए। साथ ही यह भी कहा गया है कि बच्चों की शारीरिक क्षमता का आकलन करने के लिए 6 मिनट का वॉक लेने की सलाह भी दी गई है। गाइडलाइन में रेमडेसिविर के इस्तेमाल से भी बचने की सलाह दी गई है।
