तिरुपति। दक्षिण भारत के आंध्र प्रदेश की तिरुमाला पहाडिय़ों पर स्थित भगवान तिरुपति बाला जी का मंदिर विश्व प्रसिद्ध है. भगवान का ये धाम सबसे ज्यादा चढ़ावे वाले मंदिर के रूप में भी जाना जाता है. यूं तो हर धार्मिक स्थल में भगवान के नाम पर भीख मागने वालों की भीड़ लगी रहती है, पर कभी-कभी ऐसी खबर आ जाती है, जिससे लोग दंग हो जाते हैं. तिरुपति बाला जी मंदिर से ऐसा ही एक हैरान करने वाला मामला सामने आया है, जहां सिर्फ श्रद्धालुओं को टीका लगाकर उनसे पैसा मांगने वाले याचक की मौत के बाद लाखों की रकम बरामद हुई है.
64 साल के श्रीनिवासन तिरुमाला आने वाले वीआईपी तीर्थयात्रियों से भीख मांगते थे, वो वीआईपी भक्तों के पीछे तब तक नहीं हटते थे जब तक कि वो उन्हें टीका लगाकर उनसे भेंट न हासिल कर लें. उनके घर से इन्हीं दो बक्सों में लाखों की रकम बरामद हुई है.
