2 से 18 साल के बच्चों के लिए भारत बायोटेक की वैक्सीन का होगा ट्रायल
केन्द्रीय औषधि मानक नियंत्रण संगठन (सीडीएससीओ) की कोविड-19 विषय विशेषज्ञ समिति ने मंगलवार को भारत बायोटेक द्वारा किए गए उस आवेदन पर विचार-विमर्श किया जिसमें उसके कोवैक्सीन टीके की दो वर्ष से 18 साल के बच्चों में सुरक्षा और रोग-प्रतिरोधक क्षमता बढ़ाने समेत अन्य चीजों का आकलन करने के लिए परीक्षण के दूसरे/तीसरे चरण की अनुमति देने का आग्रह किया गया था। भारत बायोटेक कंपनी ने जो आवेदन दिया है उसपर काफी विचार-विमर्श करने के बाद समिति ने प्रस्तावित दूसरे और तीसरे चरण के परीक्षण की इजाजत की सिफारिश की है। वहीं बता दें कि, भारत बायोटेक ने देश के कई राज्यों में कोरोना वैक्सीन की सप्लाई भी शुरू कर दी है।
